The partnership between Swansea Communications and Summers Direct Conference & Events started in 2011 in Fort McMurray, AB when the respective owners (Andrea & Renee) met at their place of employment. What began as a side hustle to fill a niche in the Canadian conference schedule has blossomed into a conference business dedicated to providing quality professional development for Canadian communicators.

From co-organizing the last decade of the IABC Canada West Region’s conference to resurrecting the regional communications forums, bringing life to new conferences and discovering opportunities with agency’s like Inner Strength Communication – the Swansea-Summers Direct partnership continues to evolve and expand, all while remaining focused on providing quality learning opportunities.
